The Scope of the Practice

Services

  • Treatment of The Upper Extremity
  • Evaluation and diagnosis
  • Nonsurgical treatment
  • Surgical treatment

Evaluation & Diagnosis

Obtain a history of the condition and complete an examination. X-ray is available as needed. Referral for further studies such as MRI, Cat scan and nerve testing as needed. Once the evaluation is completed then a treatment plan can be presented to the patient

Nonsurgical Treatment

Many conditions may be treated by nonsurgical means. Medication, injection, splinting and therapy are frequently used.

Surgical Treatment

Certain conditions are best treated by surgery. Most surgery is an out patient procedure. Surgery may be arthroscopic, arthroscopically assisted or traditional open surgery as dictated by the problem being treated and mandated by the condition.

Our Mission

To be able to provide medical care is a privilege. I am very fortunate to practice my specialty. I strive to help. However, not every condition can be resolved. I seek to give you my honest opinion.

My focus of practice is limited. This allows me to have greater knowledge of the conditions I treat. Even so, I can not know everything and will ask for help. My goal is to give you my full attention. However, the pressure and frustrations of the practice of medicine in today's climate may get in the way. I should have your confidence on every visit. If you do not feel comfortable about your visit, please say so.

If you wish to have a second opinion, please ask. I will not be offended.

My focus of practice is limited. This allows me to have greater knowledge of the conditions I treat and to be able to focus on what I do treat.
