Post Injection Instructions

Injections sites can frequently be uncomfortable for a few days. The injection will not be effective for three to five days.

Ice application can be helpful. NEVER, apply ice directly on the skin. Place a small face towel over the area. Apply the ice for 10 to 20 minutes. This may be done several times per day. It can be helpful to wrap the ice pack on the extremity.
