Wound Care


When your surgical wound is healed and all bandages have been removed, wound care should begin.

1. Break open a Vitamin E capsule or pour a small amount of Vitamin E oil onto the wound and massage as firmly as possible. This should be done three times per day for five minutes.

2. At night, cut a strip of the Curad gel strip and apply to the wound.


These applications should be done for at least six to eight weeks. These items are readily available in most drug stores or can be purchased by clicking on the images below.
